America's First Day @ Work
America went back to where the immigrants gather up to wait for an opening job, in hopes for anything. A man finally took her in accompanied with the blonde hippie with a nose ring. They both get sent to the mans house to do maid work. America was promised 25 bucks for 6 hours of hard labor. She spent around 8 hours scrubbing Buddhist statues covered in mold the whole evening and wondered if she would get payed those extra two hours she spent working. She was desperate to keep her spot at the job so she didn’t dare to take a restroom break or a break at all. After the work was done the man brought her to his front seat and she felt like she was in paradise. Finally, her very own well earned money! She felt proud of herself and couldn’t wait to come home to her husband with grocery bags and a family to feed. she felt overjoyed, until the man rested his hand on America’s thigh during the car ride.
